Murdoch Road, Thornlie
(adjacent to the Forest Lakes Shopping Centre)
Book: Don Russell P.A.C. 9 493 4577

Emily Barker, the talented 11 year old whose future in show-business seemed
set to shine, was in a horrific traffic accident on Reid Highway on Monday 31st
March 2003, an accident that killed her mother, and left the little girl clinging
to life in Princess Margaret Hospital.
Colleagues who have performed with Emily and known her for quite some time,
have joined forces to create a concert entitled "Tomorrow - a Benefit Concert
for Emily Barker".
This an opportunity not only for her friends, workmates and family, but also
the community at large to come together to support a young girl who will need
the very best of care, in order to make a recovery to the fullest extent possible.
The money collected from ticket sales and fundraising activities at the show
will go directly into a secure trust fund for Emily's medical needs.
The first performance South of the Swan will be at Don Russell Performing Arts
Centre, Murdoch Road, Thornlie, adjacent to the Forest Lakes Shopping Centre,
on Sunday, October 12th, 2003, at 2pm.
Should the response from the public be overwhelming, a second performance will
be scheduled for one week later, on Sunday, October 19th at 2pm.
Performing in the show will be:
Side By Side & The Sidekicks
All the performers and crew have donated their time and talents to this worthwhile
cause, because this little girl's plight is so dear to their hearts. This is
important to us all because it means that almost all of the proceeds from the
show go into her Trust Fund, where the money can directly assist her to recover.
